I’m Damian Castillo, owner and founder of DC Stoneworks. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and I’ve been around the stone industry for most of my life. My family has always worked in granite, and I started learning the trade at just 16 years old, spending my summers working for my brother’s business and learning the ins and outs of stone fabrication and installation.
Over the years, that early experience turned into a true passion. I took a special interest in the craft, refined my skills, and eventually branched out on my own to create DC Stoneworks. For me, this work is about more than just stone—it’s about creating spaces people genuinely love.
There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing I played a role in someone’s family kitchen, dream home, or business space. I take pride in the joy my work brings and in creating spaces where people can gather, work, and make memories.
As a local business owner, it means a lot to me to give back to the community I grew up in. I proudly serve Austin and the surrounding Central Texas areas, and I’m willing to travel to San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas for the right project.
